这个时候重点是阅读,单词;

首先就是要分清21考场真题研究套路和平时研究套路;

真题研究就是套路;

考场就要有考场的姿势:迅速&准确找对答案即可;

平时就是有平时的姿势:研究透彻句子结构,消灭词&短语;找准定位句,对其错误选项和正确选项认真分析;

21.  Which of the following is true according to the first two paragraphs(1&2

22.  Dr. Yehuda’s researchsuggests that women(这个人物不一般)

23.  According to Paragraph 4, the stress women confront tends to be(4段很重要)

24.  The sentence “I lived from paycheck to paycheck.” (Line 6, Para. 5) showsthat(引号天下无敌)

25.  Which of the following would be the best title for the text?(作者没题目让你给他取题目这作者太low)

既然定位1&2段,那就标注句子吧!第一段2句话,第二段2句话;下来就是看句子了(重点不在看单词认不认识而是列框架);

①  While still (still强调一直在追)catching-up to men in some spheres of modernlife, (但是)women appear to be way ahead in at least one undesirable category. ②“Women are particularly susceptible to developing depression and anxiety disorders in response to stress compared tomen,” according to Dr. Yehuda, chief psychiatrist at New York’s Veteran’sAdministration Hospital.

以下操作是试卷简单涂画(楼上标注的应该是你试卷涂画的内容)&想&草稿纸逻辑框架操作;

大概意思就是相比男性女性在面对压力时候更容易患病(只要消极就好了)副词:particular非常很重要,扮演提高或降低态度音量的作用,表明文中作者的态度,把握作者的态度是理解文章的关键;还有extremely、fairly、nearly、really、widely、highly、barely、undoubtedly;

①  Studies of both animals and humans have shown that sex hormonessomehow affect the stress response, causing females under stress to produce more of the trigger chemicals than do males under the same conditions.② In several of the studies, when stressed-out female rats had their ovaries (the femalereproductive organs) removed, their chemicalresponses became equal to those of the males.

21.   Which of the following is true according to the first two paragraphs?

[A] Womenare biologically morevulnerable to stress.

[B] Womenare still suffering much stress caused by men.

[C] Womenare more experienced than men in coping withstress.

[D] Men andwomen show different inclinations when faced with stress.

通过前面的逻辑草图你知道了在讲女性,压力和化学物质;

D直接排除,在讲男性肯定错;因为文章重点是女性;逻辑草图你知道了women;stress;chemical正好等于A的;biological表示生理等于chemical;

B中的女性压力大是男性引起的;C女性应对压力更有经验;文章从来没有;

①      Adding to a woman’s increased dose of stresschemicals, are her increased “opportunities” forstress. ②“It’s not necessarily that womendon’t cope (双重否定表示肯定)as well. ③It’s just that they(女性) have somuch more to cope with,” says Dr.Yehuda.④ “Theircapacity for tolerating stress may even be greater than men’s,” sheobserves, “it’s just that they’re dealing with somany more things that they become worn out fromit more visibly and sooner.”

想&试卷涂画:①increased “opportunities”for stress.

22.   Dr. Yehuda’sresearch suggests that women

[A] needextra doses of chemicals to handle stress.

[B] havelimited capacity for tolerating stress.

[C] are more capable of avoiding stress.

[D] areexposed to more stress.

Dr. Yehuda’s定位到③句;②“It’s not  necessarily that women don’t cope (双重否定表示肯定)as well. ③It’s just that they(女性) have so much more to cope  with,” says Dr. Yehuda.(好像这道题是细节题不是例证题不要看到suggest立刻想到例证题)“opportunities” for stress/ so much  more to cope with/ dealing with so many more things= women are exposed to more stress.

Dr. Yehudanotes another difference between the sexes.②“I thinkthat the kinds of things that women are exposed to tend to be in more of a chronic or repeated nature. ③Men go towar and are exposed to combat stress. ④Men are exposedto more acts of random physical violence. ⑤ The kindsof interpersonalviolence that womenare exposed to tend to be in domestic situations, by, unfortunately, parents orother family members, and they(女性) tend not to be one-shot deals. ⑥Thewear-and-tear that comes from these longer relationships can be quite devastating.”

想&试卷涂画:①又是一个研究(之后应该说研究的内容)②chronic or repeated nature.这个认识repeated就可以女性面临的压力不是暂时的而是反复的;③④⑤男性在更多压力下表现physical violence.女性在domestic situations,这种暴力they tend not to be one-shot deals. ⑥女性更易受压力所害;

草稿纸列:四段:①②女性面临的压力不是暂时的而是反复的③④⑤女性不仅有身体上还有心理上的伤害;⑥女性更易受压力所害;

23.   According to Paragraph4, thestress women confronttends to be

[A] domestic and temporary.

[B] irregular and violent.

[C] durable and frequent.

[D] trivial and random.

由the stress women confront可以定位到②“I think  that the kinds of things that women are exposed to tend to be in more of a chronic or repeated nature.

Adeline Alvarez married at 18 and gave birthto a son, but wasdetermined to finish college. ②“I struggled(表示很艰难) a lot to get the college degree. ③I was livingin so much frustration(挫折) that that was my escape, to go to school, and get ahead and do better.”④Later, her marriage ended and she became asingle mother. ⑤ “It’s the hardestthing to take care of a teenager, have a job, pay the rent, pay the carpayment, and pay the debt. ⑥ I lived from paycheck to paycheck.”

想&试卷涂画:①②一个例子,上大学很艰难由struggle则可以看出;③生活不如意想着通过上学去逃避;④后来这个例子人物离婚了⑤这个人物面临巨大的经济压力,压力是长期性的。⑥看不懂=⑤;因为中途没有转折词;

24.   The sentence “I lived from paycheck topaycheck.” (Line 6, Para. 5) shows that

[A] Alvarez caredabout nothing but making money.

[B]Alvarez’s salary barely covered herhousehold expenses.

[C] Alvarez got paychecks from different jobs.

[D] Alvarez paid practically everything by check.

⑤=⑥;⑤ “It’s the hardest thing to take care of a teenager,  have a job, pay the rent, pay the car payment, and pay the debt. ⑥ I lived from paycheck to  paycheck.”

A Alvarez只关心赚钱,太过于主观了,因为她要take care of a teenager, have a job, pay the rent, pay the car  payment, and pay the debt.所以要努力赚钱目的在于应对挫折,压力;

D通过支票付款,这个从来没有说。C通过不同的方式赚钱和文章压力很小的关联;

Not everyone experiences the kinds of severe chronicstresses Alvarez describes. ②Butmost women today arecoping with a lot of obligations, with fewbreaks, and feeling the strain. ③Alvarez’sexperience demonstratesthe importance of finding ways to diffuse stress beforeit threatens your health and your ability to function.

想&试卷涂画:①②大多数女性因压力而感到焦虑;③建议措施:及时寻求途径予以缓解;

草稿纸列:六段:①②大多数女性因压力而感到焦虑;③建议措施:及时寻求途径予以缓解;

25.   Which of the followingwould be the best title for the text?

[A] Strainof Stress: No Way Out?

[B] Responsesto Stress: Gender Difference

[C] StressAnalysis: What Chemicals Say

[D] GenderInequality: Women Under Stress

全文都在讲女性和压力;

A只有压力无women;B:Gender Difference重点在讲女性而不是男性也谈范围过大。C范围太小只有Chemicals ;D既有stress也有women;
